New things

Well, we got all moved into our new place this weekend. It is absolutely fabulous! We just adore the Woodbury portion of Irvine. The move itself was fairly uneventful, we are happy to report. And Miss Sydney was so cute trying to help us do everything.
Renee interviewed with State Farm on Tuesday for a Claims Processor position and is hoping for a call soon. She has come to realize that being a preschool teacher is not, nor ever will be, her life's work.
Sydney is in a new classroom at school, since she turned 1 1/2. So far, so good. She doesn't particularly care for the substitute that's been taking care of her in the mornings, but her real teacher will be back soon, so hopefully things are better then and the crying fits lessen.
Nick is doing good as the "Disaster Dude" at work. The commute is still killer, but with the market the way it is, we're just thankful to have jobs at this point.
We are gearing up for another weekend and Sydney's 2nd Halloween. She is going to be Minnie Mouse. The costume is just darling and we can't wait to see her in it. We thought we might hit up Disneyland this weekend as well for some much needed family time. There just never seems to be enough of it these days.
Other than that, things are going well and we are enjoying the time we get to spend together. Before we know it, we'll be planning Syd's 2nd birthday party. Where does the time go?
